Just to let you know that as saturday is a normal open day we will be going to the pub for our after game drinks. If anyone is coming down on the saturday, we may not be on site when you get there. If so, go into Matlock and we are in the Duke of Wellington, on the left just after the 30 signs.

9:30? thats almost late enough to consider driving up in the morning. I think I may have to see what the forecast is before I make any rash decisions about camping. Especially if there isn't going to be anyone there till stubblehopper & crew turn up. :?

Yeah, but you'll want to be there at about 8:30am in order to get ready. Maybe earlier. If you're late nobody will wait for you!

I'll just sleep in my kit and give myself an extra 1/2 hr in bed.

Good job you're not doing drill with the Brits first thing then... we want nice pressed uniforms! You'll need a good crease down the front and back of your trouser legs!

(That's a joke by the way... though it would be nice! ;) )

Personally I go for more an 'In the field' look which is very similar to how I look when I get up the morning so is quite easy to pull off.

(That's a joke by the way... though it would be nice! ;) )

I wouldn't have told them that, I would have let them stew a bit first.

I didn't know they had to be pressed  - just written a note myself so I don't forget!

My ammo boots need some serious cobbling, so I'll have to change out of them after inspection!

Oh yes... trousers pressed with a nice sharp crease down the front and back. NO TRAMLINES!

(Mine should be already... :) )

I want to see my face in those boots! (You won't in mine as I'm not going to be crawling through the undergrowth in my best boots... heh)

Hmm, do I need brown paper or something to stop wool trews going shiny when I iron them?

not if you have an iron that can be set to "wool"

If you don't then you'll need to use a tea towel or something similar.

Whatever the case don't ruin your trousers for this... :)
